Every school left a mark. Here's how each one built the person I am today.

2016 — 2021

Chua Chu Kang Primary School

Singapore · PSLE Graduate

Six formative years where I discovered a love for sport, mathematics, and competing hard. CCPS gave me my first taste of structured team culture through basketball, and my PSLE results reflected the work I put in.

I represented Chua Chu Kang Primary School as part of the school basketball team throughout my time there. Being part of the team taught me discipline, communication under pressure, and what it truly means to win and lose as a unit — lessons that have stayed with me far beyond the court.
2021 — 2025

Swiss Cottage Secondary School

Singapore · O-Level Graduate

Four years that transformed me. I entered Swiss Cottage as a student and left as a leader. The club presidencies, exchange programmes, and academic achievements here are a testament to what consistency and genuine investment in your community can produce.

As President of the Publications and Media Club, I led a team of 40+ members across photography, videography, design, and journalism. Key initiatives included redesigning the school's social media presence, launching a student-run video news segment, and mentoring juniors in content creation. I was responsible for all major events, inter-club collaborations, and the club's annual showcase — an experience that sharpened my leadership, communication, and creative direction skills immensely.
As a Science Ambassador, I represented the school in science outreach initiatives, engaging primary school students and parents with hands-on demonstrations and experiments. This role taught me how to communicate complex ideas simply — a skill I use daily. I also contributed to the school's Science Carnival and worked with teachers to design student-friendly exhibits.
Elected by my class as PE Representative, I served as the bridge between students and the PE department. Responsibilities included coordinating sports day logistics, communicating schedule changes, and ensuring full class participation in physical activities. I also advocated for additional student sporting opportunities through formal feedback channels.
For two years I served as the class Math Representative, collecting and distributing assignments, liaising with the Math department, and organizing peer study sessions. I helped struggling classmates with key O-Level topics and created summary notes that became a resource for the whole cohort.
I hosted a school-wide workshop guiding Sec 3 students through choosing their subject combinations for O-Levels. Drawing from my own experience and research, I structured the session around understanding interests, future pathways, and workload management. The workshop was attended by over 100 students and received strong positive feedback from school leadership.
Beyond formal titles, I took on informal leadership throughout my time at Swiss Cottage. I organized class cohesion activities, stepped up during teacher absences to facilitate lessons, and consistently volunteered for school-wide events including National Day celebrations, Open Houses, and CCA showcases. Leadership, for me, was never about the title — it was about showing up.
Selected as one of a small cohort of students to represent Swiss Cottage on a leadership exchange programme to Brisbane, Australia in 2024. Over two weeks, we engaged with local schools, participated in cross-cultural leadership workshops, and collaborated with Australian students on community challenges. The experience deepened my global perspective and reinforced my belief in the power of empathetic, adaptive leadership.
2025 — Present

Anglo Chinese School (Independent)

Singapore · IB Diploma Programme

Currently in my first year at ACS(I), pursuing the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme. Grades are TBC — but the journey is already exceptional. I'm learning at a new level, building with the Young Entrepreneurs Club, and meeting some of the most driven people I've encountered.

As Vice President of the Young Entrepreneurs Club at ACS(I), I help lead a community of student founders and business thinkers. My role includes organizing speaker sessions with real entrepreneurs, facilitating pitch competitions, and building a culture where ideas are taken seriously. The YEC is where school meets the real world — and I'm committed to making that bridge as strong as possible.
