I got serious about health and fitness in 2024 — and I mean serious in the right way. Not obsessive, not performative. Just consistent.
The shift happened when I started thinking about health as infrastructure. Everything I want to do — build companies, create, perform, think clearly — runs better when the body is looked after. Sleep, training, nutrition: these aren't optional extras. They're the foundation.
My training combines strength work (compound lifts, progressive overload) with cardiovascular conditioning. I run regularly and have recently integrated swim and bike training as part of my move into triathlon. Nutrition-wise I focus on whole foods, adequate protein, and not overcomplicating things.
The biggest lesson: sustainability beats intensity. The person who trains consistently at 70% beats the person who trains at 100% for a week and burns out. I'm building habits I can hold for decades, not routines I'll abandon in a month.
